Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 pieces of turkey sausage, tomatoes

Snack:  Unsalted Macadamia Nuts

Lunch: Bowl of chili, green beans

Dinner: Ribs (some sauce)

Dessert: Carb friendly ice cream

Workout: 1/2 P90X Bicep and Back

Overall: C. Last day of the ice cream.  It’s holding me back.  Did a weigh in this morning before basketball, 225.  That’s a 2 lbs gain from last week and I’ve been pretty good besides the ice cream.  After basketball I was 220 so some of that is water.  Need a great Thursday and Friday to beat last week.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 pieces of turkey sausage.

Lunch: Bowl of chili, green beans, broccoli

Dinner: Steak & Peanuts

Dessert: Carb friendly ice cream

Workout: Max Interval Circuit

Overall: B. I have to cut out the  Carb Smart ice cream daily.  Workout was more then solid.  We went to the Cincinnati Reds baseball game so I had to beat the temptation of beer & other ballpark food.  Instead I ate a lot of peanuts & water.

Playing with the titles here, bear with me.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 pieces of turkey sausage.

Lunch: Burrito bowl – beans, peppers, onions, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, beef.  Bowl of chili.

Dinner: Steak, green beans, broccoli

Dessert: Carb friendly ice cream

Workout: Deck of cards push up workout.  336 pushups in 35 minutes.

Overall: B. I’m a little worried about the Carb Smart ice cream, with dairy a no no.  Workout was solid, wish I had more time to do bench press since pushups are the only chest I get to do.

4 Hour Body – 5/9 Weekend Edition

Friday

Breakfast: 2 Chicken Breast

Lunch: Buffalo Chicken Salad, too much ranch

Dinner: Eggs & Sausage

Workout: Swimming with the kids for an hour.

Saturday

Cheat day! Goetta, toast, eggs for breakfast. 2 McDonalds cheeseburgers and a chocolate shake for lunch.  Cheeseburger and french fries for dinner.  3 IPA beers. Did a 1/2 shoulder workout. It was a good day!

Sunday

Breakfast: Left over chicken breast and hamburger (no bun)

Lunch: skipped

Dinner: Sirloin Steak topped with Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce, Broccoli.

Desert: Carb Smart Ice Cream.

Workout: Max Cardio Conditioning

Sunday was interesting, Max Cardio kicked my butt, which I probably needed for my cheat day prior.  I know I had too much dairy in the dinner portion but it was worth the taste.  I took a flyer on the carb smart ice cream.  We’ll see how my body reacts… I’ve been weighing in on Saturdays (broken scale at home), so far, down ~14 lbs in 2 weeks.

Dinner: Chicken Bowl with black beans, spinach, and salsa

Supplements: ammino acid, generic vitamin, fiber, garlic, omega 3

Drink: 2 cups of coffee, 5 glasses of ice water/ice tea.  1 artificial/aspartame drink.

Diet Grade: A.

Workout: Insanity Max Cardio Circuit.  Kicked. My. Butt.

Lunch: Spicy garlic buffalo chicken salad

Dinner: 2 hamburgers, no bun, topped with black beans, guacamole & spinach .  Side salad with caesar dressing

Supplements: ammino acid, generic vitamin, fiber, garlic, omega 3

Drink: 2 cups of coffee, 5 glasses of ice water/ice tea.  1 artificial/aspartame drink.

Diet Grade: B.  Buffalo chicken salad was deep fried and used 1 packet of ranch.

Workout: 2/3 Bicep and Ab P90X workout.

Breakfast:  2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon

Lunch: 2 bowls of chili, 1 side salad with normal amount of cesar dressing

Dinner: 1 round steak, black beans, guacamole, hot sauce

Supplements: ammino acid, generic vitamin, fiber, garlic, omega 3

Drink: 1 cup of coffee (soy creamer), 5 glasses of ice water

Diet Grade: A.  I guess only the ceaser dressing was a short coming…

It’s been a long time since I posted GREAT content.  That is going to change, starting today, I’m posting progress on my 4 hour body/ paleo diet.  I’ve done my research and like some out of each of these thinkings, sprinkled in with my own workout philosophy.

Likes: Motivation, Lentils, Low Carb, No Diary, Supplements, Cheat Day, No Fruit

Dislikes: Workout plan

Paleo Diet

Likes: Eating Organic, Low Carb, No Diary

Dislikes: No Lentils, Fruit

Overall My Plan

No Sugar, No Diary, No Fruit, Lentils are good, Supplements, Cheat Day, Avoid anything out of box.  P90X on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Insanity on Tuesday & Thursday.

Meal Plan

Breakfast: A choice of: Eggs (combination of regular eggs and egg white).  Black beans, Spinach, Bacon, Sausage.

Lunch: A choice of: Homemade Chili, Salad with minimal salad dressing, Chipotle Burrito Bowl (beans, chicken, tomatoe, hot salsa, guacamole)

Dinner: Meat, Salad, Beans.

Workout Plan

Monday: choice of P90X chest day (~200 pushup) & (~100 heavy pants) OR deck of card pushups.

Tuesday: Basketball OR Insanity Pure Cardio

Wednesday: P90x Biceps & Back OR Biceps Drop Sets for ~30 minutes

Thursday: Basketball OR Pick Insanity Video

Friday: P90X shoulders OR shoulder/triceps zero rest workout ~30 minutes

Supplements

Green Tea x 2 a day, Regular Men’s Vitamin x 1 day, Garlic x 1 a day, Omega 3 x 1 a day, Amino Acid  x 1 a day.
